Top 10 Best wines / Popular wines

I was impressed with the culture and rich heritage of wine in the history which encouraged me to do a research on different types of wine and create a list of most accepted wines.

History of Wine

For thousands of years, wine has been a popular beverage among humans. The excellent taste, nutritional benefits, and, not least, psychoactive (intoxicating) effects all contribute to our natural liking for this drink.

None of the alcoholic beverages have had such a profound effect on society. Wine trade between cultures paved the way for religious and philosophical ideas to spread throughout Europe. From Noah and his grape plants through Jesus, probably the greatest winemaker to date, wine is mentioned repeatedly in the Bible.

Wine is still utilised in the Catholic Church as a replacement for Christ's blood, indicating the significant significance the beverage has played in the past. Centuries ago, a wealthy and competitive wine business was also a sign of a prosperous society, as only sophisticated cultures could support it. Wine is widely regarded to be the bedrock of Western civilization.

Ancient Egyptians, Greeks and Romans all civilizations have their profound love for wine which originates somewhere 6000 B.C
